Choosing Our Partners
A finished garment may look simple.
But behind one little shirt are many decisions.
The fabric.
The yarn.
The pattern.
The stitching.
The finishing.
The people who make it.
For us, choosing who we work with is therefore just as important as choosing what we make.
We don’t believe a product can be genuinely thoughtful if the process behind it isn’t.
That doesn’t mean every partner has to be perfect.
It means they have to care about doing things properly.
We look for people who understand quality.
People who are willing to discuss details.
People who will tell us when something isn’t working instead of simply saying yes.
Because building a children’s clothing brand is not about placing an order and receiving a box of garments.
It’s a relationship.
We want to know how our pieces are being made.
We want to be able to question a finish.
Change a measurement.
Improve a fabric.
Discuss a problem.
And ultimately make the product better together.
Price matters.
Of course it does.
But it isn’t the only number we look at.
Sometimes the cheapest option isn’t the best option for the child wearing the garment — or for the brand we are trying to build.
We would rather work with fewer, better partners who understand what Mori & Sora is trying to create.
Partners who value consistency.
Craft.
Communication.
And doing things properly even when nobody is looking.
Because a premium product isn’t created by a logo.
It is created by hundreds of small decisions before the customer ever sees it.
And we want those decisions to be ones we can stand behind.
The people behind our clothes matter to us.
That is why choosing our partners is part of designing Mori & Sora.
